This company is unbelievable. Recently had leak in pipe near garden tap. Employed leak spotters to find the leak. Leak found - no problems. Cost $176. Worker asked if we would like to use leak spotter plumbers to then fix the leak. He advised that they charge approx $90-$95/hour. Made appointment via their office and after informing them it was under concrete path we were again advised that it would be $90/hour. I repeated back the charge and asked them to confirm this and they agreed. At no stage did they advise there were any additional charges!! Arrived to fix leak. At our house for 1 1/2 hours however was gone getting parts (don't they carry parts with them????) for nearly 1/2 hour so in reality was only working for just over an hour. When finished gave us a bill of $381.15. Bill breakdown - Labour $202.50 ($90 for first 1/2 hour and then $90/hour), concrete cutter $110, parts $34 and then GST added. I fully agree that parts are an added extra, however, for the remainder, well let's just say the more people that know what this company is about, the better. Use your local plumber instead!!!!!!

Wow. These guys did quite a number on us! We employed them to install individual water meters into our small complex of 8 townhouses. They did a hasty job, failed to install the appropriate fixtures to meet compliance standards and have refused to correct the problem. We have had an inspection through the water authority who have stated all 8 failed to meet the required standards and to make matters worse, Leakspotters have shown poor form by refusing to return and complete the job properly. Also, since the meters were installed we've seemingly developed a leak, which has tripled our water bill! Coincidence??? Very poor business ethic and I would strongly suggest they are not considered for your plumbing needs. We are now having to utilise another company to fix the mess these guys created! Not on!

We had a leak in the bathroom from the vanity. It was flowing quite fast so we had to turn it off at the mains. You turned up promptly and had it fixed quickly. I was worried it was going to cost and arm and a leg. But the bill was more reasonable. Thanks.

Had been having cold showers for way to long so I gave Leak Stoppers a call the guy was very helpfully he talked me through the problem over the phone and we all had hot showers about an hour later......My kids are very greatful......thankyou very much I will be using your services in the future and will be tell my family and friends.

Great Service, detected the leak within 30 mins but ....... if they had told me on the phone they only detect and dont fix on the day i think i may have booked someone else though. So if you call them to help you make sure they can also fix it on the same day. To detect the leak it was $165 ...

While visting family in Logan, I noticed they had water running down the drive. They said they had plumbers look at it, but with no luck. I spotted a leak spotter van in a car park, contacted the number on the saide of the van. Within 24 hrs they had located the leak and repaired it. Prompt friendly service. Well done, wish they were in NZ

Leak Spotters did find the leak, and fixed the problem. I was seriously impressed with the service, from lady who made the appointment, to the plumber coming out, they are a real pleasure to deal with.
