When my husband passed away 4 1/2 years ago, I thought my caravanning days were over. We enjoyed many wonderful adventures together however, I never learned to tow, in fact, I looked after all the inside stuff and my very capable husband took care of the outside. I turned 60 a few weeks ago and suddenly thought if I don’t buy a van soon it would be too late. With my 2 daughters encouragement, I purchased a brand spanking new Adria Action, NEVER having towed before.
Then I discovered Andrew at Learn2Tow after a google search for towing lessons.
Yesterday I spent ONLY 3 and a bit hrs with Andrew, and I feel confident enough, that when I take possession of my van in a couple of weeks, I will be able to tow ‘her’ all the way from Sydney to my home on the north coast of NSW.
Of course, I will still need to practice, practice then practice some more, however, after Andrews expert guidance, clear instructions with just the right amount of humour, I can now continue my adventures, keeping Andrews towing tips on my mind, and my dear husband’s memory in my heart.

Well structured, easy to follow instruction delivered calmly and clearly enabled us to go from virtual novices to being able to safely park our caravan in even tight areas. We were given all the tools necessary to allow us to be safe, and mindful of what can go wrong but emerge confident that with a well thought out plan we can arrive safely in our caravan and within minutes be able to relax and set up

My towing course was amazing, I was nervous to start as I'd never towed, but the way Andrew

Both my husband and I had a lesson with Andrew. It was invaluable. We are just about to purchase our first caravan and now feel we have so much more confidence to be able to tow and park safely and efficiently. Andrew is a fabulous teacher and the whole experience was laid back and very enjoyable. We would highly recommend the course.
In the interest of safety for all, this type of training should be mandatory for anyone wanting to tow a caravan.

Thanks Andrew. Was a really great morning. Hubby has been towing a while but still learnt heaps from you. As you know I have never towed anything before and can now reverse a caravan into a tight spot and drove the caravan home. Who would have thought.

As someone who has never towed a caravan before I can't believe Andrew's course is not mandatory for any novice buying a caravan. I learnt so much invalauable information in a short time. I feel very confident for the future. Also the extra hour spent on the road was great. Little tips and also learnt how to operate my electric brake controller correctly and how to use my 6 speed auto properly. Andrew is a great teacher, casual but professional, I really enjoyed the morning.

Andrew was great. Very relaxed but professional. Well worth doing it with my husband who was not keen on towing. We are grey hair novices with still a lot to learn but We learnt so much in just a short amount of time with Andrew who has taken the stress out of our future towing trips and given us the confidence to get out there. This towing course is fantastic! A 'must do' for novice travellers or even those looking to brush up on their skills. Andrew was very informative and professional. I feel so much more confident now in being able to park and reverse our 20 foot caravan.
