Well where do I start? I ordered a coffee, it came out sooooo hot that the spoon burnt me after I had stirred my coffee and put it in my mouth. I then got my order of lamb shanks, which were cold as a corpse on the inside, took them back to get them fixed and they microwaved them for another 2 minutes with all of the vegetables and sauce still in the bowl, sent them back to me and they were still not 60 deg (serving temperature) but the gravy had now splattered all the way up the sides of the bowl. The sweet potato mash was unseasoned and personally wasn't even fit for baby food. I then proceeded to drink my bottle of water ($3.90 for 600mls). Left the rest of my scalded milk latte. Went up and paid and looked over at the wand of their coffee machine to see it absolutely caked in dried milk. No apologies or discount for the cold food either. At least our server was efficient at taking our order.

Where do I start with Leo's?! Firstly it always smells terrible in there, the food comes out quickly but it's really overpriced, $12 for a toasted tuna, cheese and mayo sandwich is just exorbitant, and they charge extra for multigrain bread! Come on! There is plenty of staff but they're always stressed out and kind of rude, and last time I was there the manager performed a citizens arrest on a woman who complained about her food and refused to pay part of her bill because (she claimed) she didn't receive most of it and what she did get was terrible. He called the police on her and she was forced to pay. That's just over the top, and has discouraged me from eating there again.

I really like the food here, despite the hectic atmosphere. It can be hard to find a seat. I ordered a slice of quiche and it was very good, although it was lacking warmth by the time it reached my table. I did find the business a bit overwhelming, and apparently the waitresses did also, though they were very polite and did a good job!

I have visited Leo's a couple of times, and overall was very unhappy with both the service and meal. The seating was very cramped and the cafe very crowded. I found the service slow and the spinach pie I was served, after quite a wait, was burnt. I have ordered coffee in the past and by the time the waiter had brought it to my table, a quarter of the contents in the cup had spilt out onto my saucer. The staff were very rushed when serving, and came across as even a little rude. Really not sure I would dine here again.

It was an okay experience. The milkshakes I have had there were lovely, though half the favours given to me did not seem to be available. The prices are good and there is a wide range of different food to suit anyone. The service was alright, though it could have been better.

Good range of food from meals such as fish and chips to lighter stuff like toasted and sandwiches, and snacks. I've stopped in for toasted sandwiches a few times when shopping. Quality is not bad, I'd go there again.

Pleasant little place to stop for a cool drink on a warm afternoon shopping. It's hard to judge the quality on just a Spider & an Iced Chocolate as they're pretty standard items that aren't going to vary much from place to place.

We weren't expecting table service when we sat down, but it probably could have been a little bit friendlier and professional as opposed to showing me the ordering pad with a list of spider flavours available rather than actually tell me what they were.

I'd probably stop in there for a coffee or a bit if I were shopping at Eastlands again.

This is a great little restaurant to have lunch in when you are shopping at eastlands, the menu is massive so there is plenty of choice, my favorite is the toasted sandwiches and chips in gravy but they also have great fish and chips too. yum!
