Isabella is amazing. The colour is sensational thank you so much! You can see how you much love you put into your job, like an artist with a paint brush. My hair has never looked so beautiful

Worst haircut I have ever had, showed the lady a photo of what I wanted and got nothing like it, my hair is longer on one side than the other and very obvious, I have curly hair and asked Lina to wash my hair before cutting but was told that she would wash it at the end, my hair looks like it has been cut with blunt scissors, everyone that looks at my hair asks what happened to it,I have an appointment tomorrow somewhere else to fix this disaster, the layers are non existent just very obvious steps, after reading some of the reviews on their website I decided that there is no point on going back for them to fix it as I am afraid it’s going to consort even worst, I wish I could post a photo here so everyone could see what I am talking about, will never step foot in this place again.

Approximate cost: $265

I do not go to this salon any longer. I have found an excellent hairdresser albeit at Burwood but is worth the travel. The reason I stopped going to Liberty is that Maria (owner) works on your hair when she feels like it. So many times when I used to go she would stop doing your hair to take personal phone calls (no problem if it takes 20 minutes or so), friends would come and visit her in the salon, she would stop and keep you waiting. As a client you are paying for a service which should not include the above. Pick up your game Maria and you would have a lot more clients

i have been going to this hairdressers for quite some time now and I see the very sweet, lovely Adrianna. She has excellent time management skills and gave my hair one of the best cuts ever. She colours it also and is obviously very experienced and good at her craft. Prices are quite reasonable. Only thing lacking is you don't generally get tea or coffee but it's in the shop next door if you really want it. A friendly place, and no it's not upmarket but that means there are no pretensions and the prices stay affordable. Highly recommended.

I had the privilege of having Maria my hair cut today and it was the best haircut I've had in two years!!! PERFECT!!! Also had a treatment and a blow dry. Silky, shiny, perfect hair!!!

9/10/14: The atmosphere and pampering by all the staff was terrific today. I decided on a colour + some foils + a cut + a blow-dry. A total hair make-over. It looks a million dollars and I'm walking on air...

I agree with the previous review re the cost and value at Liberty Leichhardt. I dropped into the salon the other day for a quick cut, I didn't have an appointment but they were nice enough to fit me in. The salon itself looks very dated and could definitely do with a renovation. The trainee who washed my hair was, like the previous review mentioned, very harsh and it hurt quite a bit. The cut was over in 10 minutes and cost me $45, which I found excessive given the service I received. I mean, this included no blow-dry, the cut did not take longer than 10 minutes and it is not a modern high class salon. Especially in this day and age of daily deal vouchers with many well known hairsalons offering a whole package below $100, I don't think Liberty should charge this prices without offering better value. The girls in the shop were ok, not overly friendly but also not rude. Be warned though as they will try pushing products on you. Overall, happy with the cut and grateful I got in without an appointment, but unlikely to visit again.

Approximate cost: $45

This was my first visit & the WOW factor was in the haircut & style! I LOVED the end result. The surprise factor was in the price as they hadn't discussed it, i hadn't asked & didn't notice signs. It cost $80.00 for a haircut & blowdry which is in the top end in prices but the salon itself doesn't exactly look like a top end salon. It looks a little dated. The young trainee washing my hair was a little too harsh in her vigourous head wash & massage. It actually hurt a little at some stage & i could feel her long nails. I didn't want to complain, she's young, in training & she was really making an effort to be friendly too. The hairdresser who cut & dried my hair wasn't as friendly but she listened to what i wanted & did a FANTASTIC job! So overall, not perfect & i think overpriced all things considered HOWEVER the quality of my haircut was better than i have had in other places so i have made another appointment & hope i am as happy with the results! At their prices though i would suggest they invest in some redocorating!

Approximate cost: $80.
