i live in essendon but will travel to docklands for this ice cream, with my two young children.. its delicious ! so fresh and tasty, our favourite is mango !!

Its a tiny shop but at least the air conditioner was working today as it was a hot Melbourne day, and of course we wanted gelati!!

Not a huge range of ice creams, but the plus side is its all home made and delicious.

I asked for a waffle cone with hazelnut, the young lady was very obliging to make mine smaller than the usual size (I know it sounds silly, but whilst I love my ice cream, I end up struggling to finish it!!)

It was very creamy and delicious, so I was pleased with my choice!

Hubby ordered himself a waffle cone with a cherry flavoured gelato (cherry ripple I think the name was) and ferrero ... I had a sample and both flavours were divine, very creamy and yum!

little expensive for ice cream about $4.50 onwards but worth it as the taste was beautiful!

Just grab your ice cream and then go for a leisurely walk along the water and enjoy!

Coffees, granitas and cold drinks are also sold there!

I love this gelato store. It has great flavours. My favourite is mango followed closely by the ferrerro roche if looking for an extra special treat. The prices are great and the outdoor area is great to sit and relax.

We chose to grab our desserts from Limonetto instead of Medici where we eating our lunch across the promenade. Limonetto is a cute little bar with a variety of colourful offerings. I had the strawberry gelati, which was sweet and light and tangy. It was a good experience in a little cup! The prices were reasonable around $5 for a small cup.

Best eaten while watching the boats and the water on nice, warm day!
