Such a lovely restaurant very large and plenty of room to sit down in you can also get take away. The service is lovely i first got the dumpings and they were so good very soft and only a little chewy with some awesome flavors in there. For my main i ordered the honey prawns. I would say there a little bit sickly so only order these if you have a sweet tooth. There wasint as many prawns as id like but i think the dumplings made up for that. The rice was nice and steamed it was int sticky. I was offered water and asked how my meal was. Will be back

It was a long day and I was craving some good Chinese food to take home to family for easy tea. I haven't been into Lion Dance Restaurant for a while ... don't know why. Hubbie and I used to eat here a lot before all the kids came along. The owners, Gwen and Frank Trieu have been here since 1984 and know what the locals like.

It's a very pretty little restaurant, probably best to book a table on busy times.

I got two mains - Lemon Chicken and Fried Sweet and Sour chicken and some special fried rice and satay skewers - all up about $46. The servings were big - lots of lemon chicken, and a full bag of the chicken in batter. Satay skewers were served on a bed of onions. Lemon sauce was really tangy and nice. Also got free bag of prawn crackers.

They joked with me quite good naturedly that it was "Chinese KFC night" LOL, but much better of course.

Open for lunch - Monday to Saturday 11.30 - 2.20 and dinner Sunday through Thursday 5.00 - 10.00 and Friday to Saturday, 5.00 to 11.00.

Very nice quality, taste and value.

Approximate cost: $15 approx.

This restaurant sounds great. If I lived closer I certainly would come there.

I love the food here! The price is quite reasonable although I have experienced waits for both in restaurant service and take away. Nice environment for in-house eating for a small or large group!

Have been to this restaurant twice before. The first time was mid week and the food and service were excellent so we went back for a second time. The second time was on a Friday night and the food quality this time around was disappointing, the chicken was too tough and grisly. Although the service was good on both occasions, we have hesitated in going back, as we feel we did not receive value for money the second time round.

Decided to give Lion Dance a second chance after not having a very good experience with the Banquet Meal (Meat and Chicken was tough). This time we kept away from the Banquet meal and ordered entrees and mains which were of good standard and very tasty. Service was attentive.

Approximate cost: $70
