The food at L'Olivo is exceptional!

I've been in there a few times now. The first was a dining experience at lunch time. Wasn't too busy, service with a smile and great great food. Shared the salt and pepper squid tapas and a pizza with a friend and was greatly surprised. Its a classy looking establishment as well.

Was so good that I went back within a week and had some takeaway pasta. Again, food was great!

Highly recommend.

Excellent service, great food, great time, difficult to book. The aromas from the open kitchen gives it a good atmosphere. Can get noisey.

It is very hard to get into this restaurant. you really have to book. The first time I went here I had the chicken salad which was pretty average but the next time I had the grilled fish and it was excellent. Loved the lemon potatoes.

Approximate cost: $24

This licensed (and BYO wine) pasta and tapas bar is warm, friendly and serves great tapas and the pasta serves are generous too. Staff are helpful, friendly without being over the top. There are big tables and little booths and a smoker's courtyard out the back. About 30 sorts of tapas covering all sorts of meat and vegetables and styles of cooking (fried, marinated, stuffed, grilled), plus a big free platter of warm turkish bread and olives to start if you order tapas.

Approximate cost: $18.00
