I have visited the Lolly Bar at Parkmore Shopping centre a few times, and none of my experiences has been pleasant.

I will begin by saying they have a fairly decent range of lollies (including US candy and also soft drink cans imported from America) but nothing really special. About a quarter of their product seems to be old stock from previous Easters or Christmases, and while it may not have reached its best before date, it is certainly not fresh or newly delivered to the store.

Upon entering the store, I have never been greeted in a friendly manner; In fact I have caught staff looking at me as if my presence in the store is unwanted or I am causing them some grief by simply browsing their products.

I have found staff on the phone or speaking to customers (likely friends) or one another in their first language on numerous occasions, even whilst serving me at the cash register, which I feel is rude. I would appreciate if they would take the time to say hello, and tell me the total of my order rather than simply glaring and holding their hand out for my hard earned cash.

Prices are fairly reasonable, some products nearing their best before date are grouped in packages for great prices, but everything else seems average.

I have given up on going to this store and hoping for a better experience, so I no longer stop by unless it is important (e.g. looking for specific lollies); Woolworths is just a few steps away and stocks much of the same product anyway.

There service here is horrible and they really need to improve in that aspect, they treated me badly and don't care about customer service what-so-ever. Not going to come here again.

You walk into the store, and look around. For once, you are probably hoping for the sales assistant to come up to you and ask you if they can help you with anything. However, i hung around for 5 minutes, and not a word. I tried again next week, and the same thing occurred. I'm starting to even think half the lollies are already expired cause no-ones interested!
