My boyfriend I go here as much as possible when we are in town. They make an excellent breakfast, I love their scrambled eggs. The furniture is slightly worn, but the view more than makes up for this.

After you've walked up Red Hill to the Lookout, cold drinks, icecreams, hot coffee and pastries await you at the Lookout Bar & Cafe. This used to be the original ice cream stop after a picnic on Red Hill in the mid 60s and 70s. The round building was built in 1964 and has a dramatic 300 degree views of Canberra (the other 60 degrees is to the refuse bin). A definite must on a hot summers day or to show visiting relatives or friends/colleagues a snapshop view of Canberra.
