Lorenzos is a cafe/restaurant located in the heart of town. They have great steaks and light meals. Coffee is excellent. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the service is always good. The steaks here are cooked to perfection and the servings are generous. Not cheap but great quality and well worth the cost.

I go to lorenzos every 6 months or so and sometimes it's great and sometimes it isn't. Luckily last night it was terrific. The place is packed with lots of happy people and it's definitely noisy. All of the wait and cooking staff seemed on point and the new autumn menu was cooked lovingly. I shared an entree of pork belly and scallops with a terrific sauce and texture. My main was veal with cauliflower paste, jus and polenta - every veal meal I've had from lorenzo's kitchens over the years have been wonderful. Dessert was shared as well - flourless chocolate cake with stawberry coulis. So nothing amazingly unusual in there - luckily he seems to have minimised the asian influence now. Our group of nine had a lot to drink so the final bill was pretty big but the actual cost of the food was standard. Looking forward to another visit in 6 months.

Lorenzo's has beautiful food, lovely people and a great atmosphere. It's worth the price (though not too pricey for the quality), definitely worth a visit for a special occasion.

The service was fantastic, but as for the food I was disapointed. I don't mind paying more if the food is great but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to my friends and family who love hearty italian food.

We love Lorenzo's - it is our special occassion place. We only wish we had more special occassions to celebrate! Some may find it pricey but we feel price wise it is on par with the other restaurants of similar standard. But the quality and service here far exceeds the rest.

Lorenzo's has beautiful food, and I really enjoy eating there - although it is too expensive for anything but a special occasion. They could do a bit more with the decor, which is not very cozy. I must recommend the degustation menu. Expensive, but amazing.
