A little known gem. If you are in the area, definitely give it a try.
The atmosphere and surrounds are very authentic. You get a sense of south america and mexico, or as much of it as you possibly could whilst still being in Melbourne.
All of the cocktails are tequila based, with quirky names like “el diablo” and they sound absolutely delicious.

The menu also offers a tantalising selection of tacos, sopes and ensalada de nopales along with home made salsas and lots of hot sauce.

We had Los Gorditas (Soft tortilla pockets filled with refried mexican beans) and Los Tacos (beef and chicken open tortilla tacos with slow cooked meat, cheese, lettuce, home made salsa, potato and coriander)
They are generous serves, and great value at $5 for a soft taco the size of a medium tapas plate filled almost to the perimeter with filling.
