I've loved this place since i was a kid. Took my cousins there over the weekend and we were there for the whole day, loads of fun. A great place for the family. We had so much fun - there were plenty of rides that were perfect for his 8 years of age. The staff were all super friendly and smiling!

As a little kid Luna Park was the best but now having grown abit older and been to theme parks in QLD, Sydney and even LA our little Luna Park looks dated and miniature in comparison. Admission is pricey and not worth the valvue for the limited amount of rides there are. The rides themselves, dated, cheap and the kind of thing you would find at your local county show. That said, the "Big Dipper" is a great feature as it is the only ride that has been there from the start and is a great historial aspect for the kids. It also shows kids that a ride can be thrilling without technology and is still one of the bumpiest and fastest rollercoasters I have ever been on. Food is also very expensive and limited in selection here. They have one eating venue with just your basic hotdogs, chips and sandwiches and everytime I have been we just leave early and go for lunch at one of the many surrounding cafes in St Kilda or to Maccas across the street. Definately in the shadow of it's Sydney cousin....

This place isn't the greatest theme park, but its a historical one there for St Kilda, Melbourne. It's a good little place for one to take the kids for an hour or two until the novelty wears out. It's free to get in which is good but any rides and whatnot you will have to pay. Would be lovely if they spruced it up a little.

This place is for no one older then about 12, and the prices are quite dear. Although you can buy a 'all ride pass ticket', it really isn't worth it, and I only went on 2 rides in the end. The rollercoaster is the best thrill you are going to get, but nothing compared to the amusement parks of sunny queensland. Unless you have children, then you aren't missing much if you give this place a pass. Food however I found was quite good.

To be honest Luna Park seems to have lost some of it's appeal (or maybe I'm just getting old)!!! The children still seem to enjoy it though.

We took visiting family to Lunda Park thinking it would be a good day out for all ages. The children made the most of what was there but it really was quite dismal for the price. Surely it is time melbourne came up with something more.

The price of Luna Park has gone up as the years pass by. There aren't that many rides there either. And some of them aren't functioning at certain times. If you buy an unlimited pass, you should be there from morning till closure in order to get your money's worth!

Kids had a ball at Luna Park. The wooden rollercoaster is back working again and it was so much fun. We all enjoyed all the old style things that luna park has to offer and will go back again.Staff were very helpful and friendly.
