We stopped for lunch at this great little Deli Cafe. It is situated in the T shaped Knoxfield Shopping Centre which is accessed to the central car park by a side road off Ferntree Gully Road. Plenty of parking and a toilet block in the middle.

It's a small but welcoming shop, tables inside and some on the street to enjoy the fresh air.

Loads of menu choices and all fresh and delicious - made right there for you. Hot roast beef and pork, chicken schnitzel sandwiches and rolls ... all the traditional favourites with loads of extras to choose from - salad veggies to avocado etc.

Hot food available too - sausage rolls, dim sims, potato cakes etc.

My roast chicken, salad and avocado sandwich at $4.50 was totally delicious and crammed full of tender and mouthwatering ingredients. Other family members had the chicken schnitzel with salad and sausage rolls. All big, fresh, tasty and good value.

Lovely polite staff - when one was called away, another immediately took their place and began making my order, telling me they would make it especially nice for me and it was no lie.

Plenty of drinks on offer in the fridge and sweet choices like shortbread cookies, rum balls etc.

Really nice, relaxing, family run place with simply good food. And with a smile. Sauce was thrown in on the house.

Would definitely recommend if you are over this way.

Approximate cost: $4 - 6
