Went in around 2 Saturday afternoon after hearing how wonderful the store was and how great the food was. Staff was normal and friendly but when I got back to work with my food (2 orders of kids chicken nuggets with chips) I found a chicken nugget that was not all the way cooked so I threw it out not wanting to make a big deal. Then I found another undercooked one and then one that was only just seared on the outside. I had eaten the 3 smaller ones thrown away 2 and then found one that was still raw. At this point i had not even touched my chips so I took it back to the restaurant to show them the quality and to try and get my money back. I was on my lunch break so did not have time to spare and after handing my uncooked lunch to the register person ,explaining my situation and waiting a few minutes where no one said anything to me (not even sorry) I walked outside to call a friend and ask what to do. I ended up leaving because I had to get back to work and finish before I left town for a few days. When i got back to town i went back to luv a cuppa to see if I could get a refund (even if it was just a partial) I found that they would not refund me any money. Instead they said I could eat there again and they would try to fix it that way. I let them know that after being served raw food and then being treated rudely not only once , but two times I would not be coming back to eat there. She still let me know that was my choice and she would not be willing to refund any money for my uncooked chicken. She also said that they cook their chicken nuggets twice so she had a hard time believing that they were raw. I had showed the raw nugget to my coworkers before bringing it back to the restaurant to show them. i let her know I could come back after she talked to the staff from Saturday, but she still said she couldn't believe they had served raw chicken. What's crazy is that I ordered KIDS nuggets and can you imagine how bad it would have been if a kid had eaten those and gotten sick. I work nearby and had been directing all of our customers to Luv-a-cuppa after hearing from friends that it was the best lunch place in the area. Looks like now I will be sending them to Gungahlin!

Lady came in to my work a few days later to give me half my money back after talking to employees who were there on Saturday. She did not appologize and told me she still couldn't believe they could have been raw. There was a man with her as well and he jumped in at that point without introducing himself saying that they "double cook" them.

I just wanted to edit my review to reflect that they did finally give me at least part of my money back. However they did lose me and the rest of my coworkers as patrons.
Sucks for them!

we had a whole family there and where suprised at the prices and the time they took to get our meals to us , it was quick and really tasty, just simple nice cafe food, no fuss or tizz the boys thought that was great
