Fee of 25 dollars a week plus if u want childminding this is 2.50 per one and a half hour. there is only 2 hours of free parking which should b enough to get in and out of one class. Limited classes between 9 and 12 for someone who really wants to loose weight and dont care to yoga or tai chi. offer chilcare between 9 and 12 on top of that u have to book to ensure your place. A pain anybody with kids under 5 would know that it is an achievement to just b able to get out of the house and mewhere by a certain time [factoring meals sleep time and odd last minute poo bombs]. Casual visits r 23.50. when i enquired abt the chilcare to the staff just directed me on how to get there. So i wondered around by myself eventually couldnt find it gave up and didnt end up joing the gym. Having said that if u were a students the rates r good and they have plenty of classes. Otherwise i didnt feel that they were very considerate to mothers who dont work and therefore if they do sign up to go to this expensive gym thay may want to get the most bang for their buck. Not be limited to only a few weight loss classes [most weight losses classes r at night when there is no childminding] and have to book to pay extra for childminding. Most gyms either dont charge or have no time limit on the childcare and certainly r more family orientated. Lastly if you need to use the showers at 1130 they r cleaning the upstairs one so u have to go downstairs. I found this one outdated and not as new as the other one. Oddly enough there is also a huge bathroom vanity mirror within an open planned area so that if uhad to get changed in the background like i did ppl washing the hands and combing the hair can have a giggle at your expense.

I've been a member for over five years. Pros good range of equipment, good instructors, it's cheaper than fitness first if you are a student or an alumnus. Cons - change rooms overused by gross people who do not read signs ( eg ' dry area' means not getting the are wet!). Crowded when Uni starts- I don't know how they do inductions for the gym but I no longer go in the evenings or late afternoons. The supposed management too busy chatting to care! This is an ongoing issue. Seriously loud chicks chatting away while walking on treadmills ( so loud that I can't drown them out with my headphones). Popular classes are way too full - I counted 40-50 while much less in non popular classes) Swim school is potluck as the instructors change. Bottom line: over the years, I be recommended over 7 family and friends....unfortunately they have all gone elsewhere and if I wasn't working in the Uni, Swim school- I've had preschool and swim school kids - how gross is leaving turd in the pool and not doing much about it. I recommended people avoid the indoor pool as much as they can. The gym takes surveys and they make token gestures, but nothing really changes. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week. If there's a new gym opening at mac centre, I'd join!

I am amazed the only review gives this place half a star, from someone who hasn't even been there! This is one of the best sport venues in Sydney, our family uses the gym, the squash courts, kids in swim school and gymnastics lessons...its got everything. Great Group exercise options, huge gym with excellent interactive equipment, one of the cleanest pools I've been in. Change rooms are a bit small, especially for swim school, but prices are very reasonable and training / sport options are vast. To be honest I wouldn't go anywhere else. Excellent admin for swim /gymnastics as well, can't fault it.

Definitely not satisfied with their services. Made a booking a couple of days ago to use their badminton facilities from 5.30-6.30pm this arvo. It cost me $22.00 for which they wanted me to pay in advance (no issues). Called up in advance to find out if they've got rackets and shuttlecocks available. They told me that I'd have to spend an extra $10.00 on top to hire rackets for 2 people and that I'd have to buy shuttlecocks, but oh wait! They don't have any available for purchase. I told them hey! I'm driving 45 mins to get there and you better guarantee that you've got shuttlecocks available, else what am I going to do, look up and wait on the court? LOL. Next they tell me that I'm booked in from 6.00-7.00pm instead of from 5.30-6.30pm, which is ridiculous considering I had work commitments after this time. Basically, they've changed my booking without even letting me know in advance. I definitely won't be using their facilities again. Highly disappointed.
