I don’t like the fact that I booked through Steam Experts, yet someone from a different company turned up (Mad about cleaning).
I’m not happy that my water and electricity was used. Other professional companies have their own power and water supply.
The gentleman that came was rather blunt and impolite. He even tried charging me more than what was agreed upon.
He was here for not even 10 minutes from start to finish.
When I was surprised at the speed and queried whether it was a deep clean for the animal urine, he said I should’ve asked for the ‘other’ deep clean , the ‘animal urine’ clean, when my initial inquiry was exactly for the animal urine clean!! That’s why I thought it cost so much!! $150 for not even a whole 3x3 room.
He didn’t even leave a copy of the invoice! I had to screenshot it for myself.
I’m not happy at all.
The carpet still smells of urine.

I just called my NDIS plan managers to ask if this was paid, they said the invoice was from Melbourne Carpet Cleaning!! That's a totally different name altogether!

Was quoted from photos and full description/room sizes for end of lease carpet clean and small burn carpet repair.
Operative arrived, wanted double the price quoted! He knew we had to hand keys back that day, so had us over a barrel. He did a very quick, superficial carpet cleaning and the carpet repair was terrible, rough, fraying lines and not glued down properly.
The clean and carpet repair were rejected by the agent, Madaboutcleaning ignored our calls and emails. They would not come back to fix or give any kind of refund. We lost a big part of our bond. Terrible experience and a terrible, very unscrupulous company. AVOID at all costs.

Worst communication skills. Looked at the rug for 3 seconds then said it will cost double. Took 3 minutes to clean it then walked all over it with his dirty shoes. Absolutely awful service. Can't believe how bad it was. Rug isn't even clean, just wet.

What a truly disappointing service provided by Mad About Cleaning!

My wife was quoted to steam clean a couch, rug and two occasional chairs. When the technician arrived, he tried to charge us double the amount due to excessive stains even though all items were already relatively clean. This didn’t feel right. When we declined to go ahead, we got a call from the manager who tried to justify their position but eventually relented and did it for the slightly higher than the originally agreed price.

The technician did a decent job at the start but seemed to rush at the end. This meant that two of the large couch cushions in particular were left with water marks. We gave it a few days to improve but once it didn’t, we called the company. We were given the run around for weeks. We sent pictures, we were promised that the technician would arrive to re-do the cushions but no one ever came. We were also told that the manager would call but no one ever called us back.

Now after over a month of trying to get this rectified, we have given up.

I would advise anyone considering using this company to keep looking. Their professionalism and customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Was quoted $200 over the phone for external pest removal to be completed over 3 visits. The guy turns up next day and expects $450 for the same. Told him it wasn't what we agreed to and he refused to leave without payment. Had to call husband to come home from work because the guys made me feel very uncomfortable.
Would not recommend.

Wonderful service provided by these guys. Had an End of lease done. I must admit my house was mess having 2 dogs. They did a fantastic job and I got my full bond back. Thanks Mad About Cleaning team. Cheers !!

SERVICE, COMPETENCY, TIMELINESS CAN ONLY BE ACCURATELY DESCRIBED AS ..... [retracted offensive word]

END OF LEASE CLEAN. TOTAL COST $420.00. COMPLETELY EMPTY - STANDARD CBD 2 BEDROOM APARTMENT. ONLY A FEW SCUFF MARKS ON THE WALLS HERE AND THERE. GREASE STAINS ON THE FLOOR TILES. BOOKED FOR 10AM BUT ARRIVED AT 1.5 HRS LATE AND GAVE US ALL THESE BS EXCUSES. TOOK THE "GENIUS" 1HR JUST TO GET ANY SEMBLANCE OF GETTING STARTED. MY WIFE AND I DECIDED TO GIVE HIM TIME AND DID NOT COMPLAINED. WE WERE TOLD BY HIM THAT IT WILL TAKE HIM 3HRS TO FINISH. SO WE LEFT HIM TO HIS OWN DEVICE AT 12.30PM. WHEN WE CAME BACK AT 3.30PM, WE WERE SHOCKED TO SEE SO LITTLE PROGRESS! TO BE HONEST, TO SAY 10% PROGRESS WOULD BE TOO KIND! IT WAS INCREDULOUS! AS WE HAD TO HAND IN THE KEYS BY 5PM. WE ENDED UP WITH MY WIFE AND I DOING THE BULK OF THE DIRTY WORK.

WHAT DID HE DO FOR $420 IN ALL THOSE HOURS?? BASIC VACCUUM OF THE CARPETS AND HALF HEARTED BASIC WIPE HERE AND THERE! END OF THE DAY WE WERE TOO TIRED AND SHOCKED TO COMPLAIN AND JUST WANTED THIS "GENIUS" OUT OF OUR FACE.

IN HINDSIGHT, EVEN PAYING THEM $10 WOULD BE CONSIDERED EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU GET. IN CASE YOU FORGOT, READ ABOVE.
