Had our lunch here today and opted for the senior's menu. I had salt and pepper calamari and trio of icecream in a basket and a capaccino. This deal was $20. There are cheaper options available as well as a normal bistro menu that is well priced. The bistro area is a normal pub bistro setting and the food was good. However, it did take quite a while to arrive at our table.

Although this hotel is situated on a very very busy main road, it is very pleasant inside. Had lunch here a few weeks ago (prawn and avocado salad) and I really enjoyed it. It was well priced (18.00) and something a little different. My husband had the calamari which he also enjoyed. The menu is quite extensive so you should be able something that appeals to you.

Nice place they have a trivia night here on a thursday which we have started going to. Its free and they have lots of cash prizes. i dont find the pub looks very enticing from the outside it looks dirty( from all the pollution from being on a main road) Its nice inside and the quiz is a fun way to catch up with friends and win free money.

We went in trying to get a basic pub meal, and the menu is pretty standard, but we recieved horrible service. It took about 15 minutes for our bill to come once our table had been cleared, and we asked for it. We then watched the waitress clean a number of tables, and stroll aimlessly around, seemingly avoiding us on purpose. It was almost funny how much effort she put into not helping us.

Really nice atmosphere; very busy but still not too loud. Great for families, kids corner etc and lots of kids the night we went there. Greater vegetarian selection would have been appreciated. Good service.

A smaller type bottle shop be it provides what we need. service is not always up to scratch as in politeness. Havent been inside the hotel for years but it seems to try and retain its older image.
