This is a most unusual space, very airy and rather grown-up for North Melbourne. The teas are very special and I'd recommend them over the coffee. Food is good but not cheap and the menu is small. My only gripe is that service can be so slow you'd think time had stopped.

We are not coffee drinker so we ordered the wonderful fragrant teas. Absolutely delicious. I had the smoked salmon open sandwich with olive bread. Absolutely delicious and it was plenty for me. My partner ordered the mixed meat open sandwich on sour dough. Heaps of sliced deli meats, but only 2 slices of bread (their menu picture shows 4 - 5 slices). We ate the meat on its own as there was not enough bread. In hindsight, we should have asked for more bread. However the food was so good, we would go back. It seems like a great place for groups to meet. While we were there, there was a mums group with babies and dads, and also a book club. Not a problem with noise, but they do also provide private screened rooms if needed. We enjoyed it as it was a different type of snack for us.

My first time at this new Cafe which is close to Vic Market. Beautiful layout and spacious for my pram and 2 children as well as having a coporate side to it with private meeting rooms. Clean, modern and spacious funiture with not being complicated. Staff friendly and attentive. I had coffee which was perfect and sweets which was great and very tasty. my son had frozen yoghurt which he loved! Very comfortable atmosphere for me to breast feed my 7mth old and with no problem at all. Large disabled toilet with baby change facilities which are clean and wonderful for more than one child! Over all very enjoyable place to eat and meet friends with parks and pools near by. Highly recomend for parents with children.
