After years of trying to find a reliable, friendly mechanic that wasn't trying to rip me off - I found Makin Automotive. They are friendly, reliable, quick, polite, take the time to explain everything, and most of all - excellent value. The lady in reception is knowledgible and friendly, whilst the senior mechanic - Andrew, took the time to come out and say hello and explain to me in person what was happening - instead of just handing me the bill.
For once, i had an enjoyable experience, and will not hesitate to recommend them to everyone. The car was ready 2 hours earlier than they had originally said, and was by far the cheapest quote I had found. The invoice ended up being $145 cheaper than the original quote - how is that for honesty?! Overall, a friendly, honest and trustworthy business.
