Coming from an Asian background, the food at Mamak's is not very authentic. There are better Malaysian restaurants in Canberra. The Nasi Lemak is ok but not exceptionally great and it is quite expensive for the portions. Still, I think they are the one of the few restaurants that serve fresh Roti Canai.

I come here for takeaways; and with large group of friends for dinner or birthday celebrations. All my friends and myself love the food as they are good-priced and the quality is good. My personal favourites are the Malaysian dishes such as laksa , nasi lemak and penang char kuey teow; whilst my friends love the Chinese dishes like sweet & sour pork and satay beef/chicken. Love this place!

My family and I frequent this venue alot! Its great for a cheaper meal. Where prices these days are unnaffordable and lack quality this restaurant proves to be the exception!
