It has a reputation for causing a great deal of stress for the organisers that typically come from a local user group. Given the opportunity to enlist the services of a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) by our host organization, Linux Australia, we were concerned about retaining the character of the conference when working with a PCO. Im glad to say that was not the case at all when working with Manhattan Events. Tanya from Manhattan Events joined our group, listened to what we had to say, identified what needed to be done and then offered additional suggestions and worked extremely well with the group. Our concerns were totally unfounded, working with Manhattan Events was a pleasure.Tanya did an enormous amount of the conference organisation and was key to preventing others in our group from becoming burned out as is so often the case for organisers of the conference.
