What a fabulous family oriented place - felt like we were back in Fiji! There is an awesome Lagoon Pool, there is a Pirate ship with waterslides, playgrounds and games rooms, Kids Club, just to name a few of hte resort facilities. Only 100m to the Beach and a short walk into Cavill Avenue (the heart of Surfers Paradise). We stayed int he 3 bedroom apartments and I looooved that there was a full kitchen and laundry. Fabulous place.... will happily stay there again!!!!

I stayed here with my partner and his family. The group of us ranged in ages from 50+ to 4 years old. And there was honestly something to do for everyone here. There's a HUGE outdoor beachy pool, outdoor kids pool with slides and water spouts, indoor heated pool, spa, sauna, steam room, cocktail bar, games room, cafe, restaurant, EVERYTHING! I had an absolute ball there and hope to be returning soon! =)

We had a 2 bedroom apartment for the 2 of us so we loved the space. Our view was of the theme park across the road which i just loved. Was glued to the window or sitting on the balcony watching the 'Slingshot' - terrifying yet captivating.

The supplies in the apartment were limited but we ate out mostly so didn't effect us a whole lot. Thought the position of the hotel was good, as mentioned loved the view, which included back over the city and around to the beach. Within the hotel is Chiangmai Thai - the best Thai restaurant ever.

We stayed on the 39th Floor of the North Tower (the taller one) and the Ocean view was .... breathtaking.

We have never stayed at a more modern furnished apartment. The 1 Bedroom apartment had a view from everywhere. The small balcony was perfect for breakfast with an amazing view. We can see the ocean from the Large Queen Size bed through a full glass wall. (With doors, blinds, and dark tinting - so privacy was fine).

We found it quite a good price considering the level we were on and the view we had. The Gym facilities were good, a lot of variation in equipment, except I have a personal preference, and I don't like combination machines. Good view of the pool area from Gym. Cool Games Room with 20+ arcade machines. Pool table, Air hockey, Racing Games, Shooting Games, Skill Testers, etc.

The pools looked lovely, though we didn't use them. One large heated undercover pool, one large nonheated non-covered pool. One long 25m Lap pool (2 lanes) and a couple of Spas.

It's the best place as it is right on Cavill, there's a large IGA supermarket under the building, so no need for trolleys, just carry plastic bags. Lift is quick, and wasn't too busy during our use.

It's a light walk to the beach, a light walk to high profile shopping, and a light walk to many restaurants and attractions. We walked to King Tutt's Putt Putt, and Infinity, Hard Rock Cafe, and more.

We would strongly recommend this place, but also strongly recommend the highest floor possible, with ocean or mountain view.

Approximate cost: $200

I picked this accommodation because last year we stayed at the hotel next door and loved the look of the pool and self contained beach. I thought the 'self contained' aspect would be a bonus, but it's been very disappointing. It's like moving into a new place. Most hardware is supplied but its all the little things that are left out. No pegs to hang your washing (though there is an 'airer'). 1 satchel of washing powder (though you can buy more from reception). Reception is only open until 8pm. 1 satchel of dishwashing liquid and only a chux to clean with. No scrubbing brush etc... so if you are to cook, I'm not sure how you're supposed to clean? There is a dishwasher but no liquid. The blurb they hand you on arrival pretty much threatens that unless you leave the room very clean, you will be fined.

Not having a car, I had to walk to the nearest supermarket and buy all the necessities, then struggled with my 3yr old in a trolley with all the stuff.... to get it back to the hotel. And I hate trolley littering!!

We didn't have a DVD player in our room. The internet was only accessible via at Cat5 cable, which I happened to bring along. But it was only 5ft long, so I was tied to the wall socket. No wireless. It was also very expensive! $50 for 1 week with only a 2,000 MB download limit.

We didn't pay the extra for the 'beach view' so we were stuck looking at a building across the road on the 5th floor. And on the far side of the building, it was a long walk to the lifts and garbage chute.

The pool and the man made beach were by far the best things about this place. You can even swim late at night. If you were staying for 2 or 3 weeks it might be good value. You need to buy everything including soap, pegs, washing powders and liquids, scrubbing brushes, garbage bags and a long internet cable.

The hotel is comfortable, but I'd only rate it as 'OK'. I think I'd maybe stay here again, but not without a car and being prepared for all the shopping needed.

Approximate cost: $package deal
