This is the place where we got married. The food has always been excellent. Very creative chefs. Quality is impeccable. Freshness of vegetables are straight from their vege garden. Dessert is phenomenal. Fine dining at its best at the central coast in the Hunter Valley!!! Wines are superb!!!

Wow. Food are amazing. Service is fantastic, friendly staff. Chefs are great and innovative, the chefs go beyond the normal steak and vegies menu. Creative food, tasty, beautiful blend of flavours and always fresh. Wines are amazing. In fact, we are soo pleased with the food and service we have received in our last 5 visits at Margans restaurant that we are having our wedding at the place in the barrel room. Parking is a breeze.

Margan Family Wines is probably my favourite winery to visit in the Hunter Valley - not only is the product of the highest standard, but the service is first class when visiting for a tasting. While I cannot comment on the reds, the Semillon is brilliant. While you can visit Tyrells, Tempus Two or the other big ones, Margan is well worth a visit - highly recommended.
