Worst experience of my life. I booked an appointment for my 2 year because my normal hairdresser didn't have enough time that morning. I arrive at the Margate train barber everything seems fine. I show staff the picture of the cut. Staff starts cutting, another customer walks in. Staff says to them "" I will be with you in 10 minutes"" I gently say "" oh my hairdresser quoted this hair cut from the photo to take 30 mins."" Staff repliedn"" I cando it in 10"" About 20 minutes later. Staff states ""done"" the haircut isn't short enough so I asked staff to trim a little more please. To which staff replies I in front of my toddler "" I don't have the time for this! Don't pay if you are not happy! Please leave! By this stage I am confused and shocked at their behaviour. I try to resolve it by asking staff what had upset to ask us to leave so abruptly. If it's a time stress problem I can come back later for staff to finish. Staff simply asked us to leave again. So I left with my crying toddler. I thought about the interaction and even though the cut looks terrible and unfinished I went back and paid $20 so when I complained staff couldn't say I just complained to get it free. I would highly recommend not going to the Margate train barber as the service was disheartening and the results unsatisfactory. I Wouldn't want anyone else to experience this. This afternoon I will be taking my son to get his hair fixed by our normal hairdresser.
