My partner took me here as a surprise because it was once his favourite place to go for a meal. When we arrived we were greeted by a nice man, who took us upstairs to find us a table. The waitress upstairs had a very gloomy manner about her, so we felt quite awkward throughout our dining experience. When looking at the menus, we realised that we had been seated in the "restaurant" part of the establishment, meaning they had two separate menus - a cheaper, cafe style menu downstairs and a more expensive restaurant style menu upstairs. We were not told this by either of the staff so we were a little bit disappointed and felt like they were trying to get us to spend more money by seating us upstairs. All in all the food was pretty good; I had a chicken dish and my partner had a seafood dish. Just a "so so" experience...

Many years ago my husband and I came here for a special occasion and were also less than impressed. Some things dont seem to change much

If I go here for a meal I will make sure I am seated downstairs. Thanks.

We've had takeaway from here a few times now. Unfortunately the food has been inconsistent. Sometimes the fish has been absolutely delicious, along with the chips, and other times the fish in particularly has been incredibly greasy. In saying that, I would still give it another go. The view in great especially at sunset.

We attended a surprise birthday function a few weeks ago. We arrived a little early and thought we'd have a drink before the guest of honour arrived. We went upstairs only to find an empty bar and no staff to be found. We went downstairs to see if we could buy a few drinks and were told they don't do drinks downstairs and we should go upstairs, get seated and wait for our waitress to serve us. We were eventually served when the waitress got the bar organised. The food was nice but a bit overpriced for what was on the plate, and I felt the price for a small bowl of very ordinary salad was too much.
However, the saving grace was the fantastic views and friendly waiting staff.

This is a great restaurant. It's not the cheapest but the view and location is fantastic, and the food is really quite good. I had the mixed seafood platter and expected everything to be frozen but it turned out everything was actually fresh which was a nice surprise. The service staff were really friendly too.
