Coffee the way it should be, service the way it should be, breakfast the way it should be. Impeccable all the way... The sort of cafe that holds a table for regular customers without a call ahead, simply because they expect you.

The service here is the thing that remains consistent. The food is quite expensive but nice. Good place to grab a glass of wine or coffee. There are many other cafes in the area serving a more creative breakfast or less or similar value.

If you are a Skinny milk drinker don't go to Mario's, they do not serve skinny milk which is very strange. Breakfast is nice and filling, service is friendly, pity about the skinny milk though.

We ate here with some friends on a trip to Melbourne and it was fantastic. I had the spaghetti and my girlfriend had a salad. It was really good. The service was quite good though. The prices were expensive but fairly average for that standard of cafe. It was very busy.
