Do yourself a favour and do not visit this vet clinic. I was quoted for 2 procedures but only was one completed as the vet said she did not have time. She could not work the 10 mins overtime to complete the quoted work. I’d said in the consult that I would take my dog to another vet if they could not complete both little procedures under one anesthetic. As a result my dog now needs to undergo another anesthetic for the second procedure. [redacted]. My dog was left howling out the back with my partner not allowed to comfort her whilst he was kept waiting in the Reception area. I’d sent him straight down to collect her as I could hear her howling in the background on the phone. The completed procedure was only 2-3 internal stitches for a small cut paw with a ridiculous bill of $700. I am completely dissatisfied with the level of service from this clinic.

Approximate cost: $700

We are sorry that you were unhappy with our service level. We strive to provide the best care possible for our patients. In this instance, Indy presented to us in the morning with a laceration on her left foot that required immediate attention. Despite having a full surgery schedule that day, we admitted Indy for surgery to repair the laceration on her foot. While here, we discussed with you the possibility of removing a chronic lump on the eyelid. We explained at the time that we had a full day of surgery so we may or may not have time to do this too we had to give priority to repairing her wound and the other surgical procedures that we already had booked in that day. We have noted on the record that you understood that the eyelid lump may not be done. Unfortunately, as the day progressed, it became evident that we would not have time to perform the eyelid lump removal that day. This procedure, if done properly, is not a 10 minute job. A large portion of the cost once a patient is admitted for surgery is the anaesthesia, drugs and theatre fees. We would always prefer for a patient to have only one anaesthetic where possible but, in this case, it would have meant postponing other urgent surgical procedures to remove a lump which had been there for some time. We assess the needs of all of our patients and prioritise the procedures on that basis.

One vet is amazing but the other vet looks like she has no idea what she is doing, she looks like a play play vet
