If you are after great coffee and great variety in foods and indulgences then this is the place for you. The coffee is fantastic, staff friendly and the choc chip muffins HUGE and to die for.

The coffee is always spot on and although lunch was a little expensive it had so much flavour. The eatery was clean, a beautiful spot to sit on a sunny day. Will go there for coffee more often.

A friend and i went to Martines on a Sunday afternoon to have a coffee. I really enjoy a good cappucino so was happy to see the waitress place before me a good size mug. The coffee was served at a temperature i found suitable (I didn't have to wait 10 minutes for it to cool before i could take a sip), it had a lovely thick froth on top and was sprinkled with chocolate. What also impressed me about this place was the great variety of take home foods they have available, everything from salads to pasta. It all looked most appealing and was reasonably priced. It has a kitchen that is visible from the counter so you can see your food being prepared fresh. I did find the waitress who served us to be a little unfriendly however, that may have been due to it being near closing time on a Sunday. I would certainly return for another cappucino and am keen to try some of their food.

The food is not bad here and the coffee is pretty good. It gets abit crowded and cramped and is impossible if you have little kids. However, if you just want a coffee and a sit down it is not bad. I havn't tried the ready prepared food they do as take away but have heard it is no bad.

Food is sometimes not fresh. Prices are way too expensive. Waiting staff are inexperienced because have very high turn over of staff but are usually friendly and helpful. Coffee is nice.
