menu is a lot smaller than it used to be, and so are the portions....

Food okay for type of venue, but service is lacking, especially in Bar and coffee area. Busy in school holidays so they should have extra staff around. Size of meals is generous - maybe even too big!

Matthew Flinders has everything from a bar, to a restaurant, to a pokies, to a childrens playground. It is perfect for anyone anytime as if caters for families and people of all ages. I particularly liked getting a bite to eat before have a few beers, going to the pokies and enjoying the live music.

good for a quick drink and not much else there are a lot of older people playing the huge number of pokies at this place, the staff are pretty good and everything looks pretty shmik, i think if i were older (above 35) i may come here more
