We have been taking our cars to Mawson Motors for over 15 years and have never had any issues at all. All the team are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and will ensure that as the customer I am fully informed of any issues that may be found with our cars and that a quote on repairs is supplied prior to any work being undertaken. I have found their prices to be fair and reasonable and their customer service to be of the highest standard.
My family and I have been using Mawson Motors ever since they started for work on my new and old vehicles and found that they have been professional and provide value for money. There is always someone who will do a cheap job but remember if you pay peanuts you will get monkeys - Mawson Motors' qualified mechanics provide quality work on my vehicles for reasonable prices.

Had my jeep serviced by mawson motors, came out like brand new! Found some faults that I didn't know about and they first rang me before any extra work was done. I live in Melbourne but i prefer to drive to Geelong for my vehicle servicing and repairs as I've found mawson motors the most professional mechanical service I've ever used, they are all a grade mechanics and vehicle enthusiasts too, so they have experience on vehicles ranging from the start of the century to the most current modern vehicles too, thanks again guys!
I have been getting my truck serviced by these guys for years. I find them extremely professional to deal with. They write a full report every time they work on the truck and it give me assurance that I know my workers will have a full understanding of what was fixed and will be safe when they go out and operate the it on jobsites.
these guys were appaling! they quoted me triple the ammount as any other mechanic in the area and were quite rude, you could tell they did not want my business what so ever. would prefer them to say that then quote me me $2000 for a $500 job!! definately do not recommend them to anyone!1

as owner of Mawson Motors it is with great interest that i read ashleighm5 comment. if i had know about this page and there had been some sort of notification of posts i would have followed up immediately. I appreciate Ben's comments and support and hope that if he had any trouble or reason to complain he would go to my business and talk. Here is my email [email protected]. Having said that in response to ashleigh we would always quote to cover contingencies and this would have been clearly explained to you at the time and it would also have been made clear that if the quote is more than the actual cost we only charge the cost. Just because its a quote dosen't mean you will get charged that amount, if more we cop that if less you don't pay. I would also point out to warranty things one cannot guess a part will be up to standard and unfortunately in today's world one must cover all possible problems. I would dearly love to see what you got for your $500 as opposed to what you would have got with our job. The lucky thing is you had a quote and you therefore had choices. I would rather have you complain like this than give a cheap job and have to deal with the consequences of cheap work.
I would also like ask ashleighm5, how he or she could place a review on us and say we were appalling when this is based on a quote? We didn't even do any work for you!!! Applaling, based on what evidence? I would also like to know who you delt with? Time has gone by but if this site had any notification process I would have addressed this and commented much earlier.
