Used a Scoopon Voucher - $29 for 2 people.

Included a choice of 2 pies (Beef with Shiraz or Chicken in White Wine), served with salad, a glass of wine each (anything off the wine list) and a bottle of Rose or Shiraz to take home. (Choice of 2).

The meal was nice, the service very friendly and the location was beautiful, with the dining room overlooking the hills and the grape vines.

The only negative would be for people who might have a disability - there is quite a steep climb from the carpark to the wine tasting/dining area. There are 8 wide steps to climb up and also an uneven area with loose gravel. Something to consider if you have mobility or respiratory issues.

Everything else was just lovely and would recommend. Great value with the Voucher!

We had a great afternoon at Maximus. Wine tasting with a platter to please. Could it get any better than this on a beautiful day. Roland and Shelley were perfect hosts.

We purchased a voucher for 4 and came with here with another couple for wine tasting. As soon as we got our platter we were impressed. The man who served us was courtesy and friendly to start with.
I was a Saturday so when it did get busy they didn't notice us as much and we had to call out to get our next tasting.
The lady that was serving that day didn't' seem at all interested, we looked over at her quite a few times but she just looked and looked away again.
When we didn't want to buy any wine to take home with us their attitude, and the tone of their voice turned sour.
I wouldn't not be going back there again, not with that attitude and poor service.

Lovely view. Quality wine. Friendly, welcoming hosts. Delicious gourmet food and handmade chocolates. The sticky date pudding is delicious! Highly recommended.
