Thank you Kate! I've tried a few salons in Brisbane for men's waxing and I left MAXWAX a very happy customer!
Very professional AND friendly at same time. I some times feel uneasy visiting salons but I'll certainly be back to MAXWAX! Finally found a salon that welcomes Men...
Cheers!

I go to MaxWax for all my waxing because they specialize in this area and I think that is important. Especially when it comes to the brazillian, you like to know that the therapist knows what they are doing! Kate is very professional and friendly and makes me feel comfortable. The salon is very clean and they offer great specials every week.

Being a male some brazilian wax therapists treat you with some disdain (esp bigger saloons with lots of female clientele ;) however kate was very professional. She made me relaxed and her waxing techniques were less painful.

Was taken in to the room almost as soon as I arrived. Kate did not have any appointments in between and was totally non rushed. She asked me to undress and get into a disposable G string. Could not see the point of that as she would have to wax (and see) all of it anyways. However this G string made me feel less naked as we went on - so was a good idea.

She started with legs and then went on to parts and bits of brazilian and returned after finishing tummy to crack and cheeks.

She wore gloves and used non strip wax at most places she was supposed to; though I could have done with non strip wax in between my cheeks.

Towards the end she gave me space to get dressed; I paid and then left. SHe gave me almost a 20 $ concession; however this shop does not accept EFTPOS.

To conclude I would totally recommend her to any males wanting to be waxed - as long as thats what you are looking for...

Approximate cost: $120

Thank you for the kind review.
I must point out that MAXWAX only uses hard wax (non strip) on sensitive areas including brazilians.
In some cases I need to use a cream based strip wax between cheeks at the back of buttocks if there is not enough hair in this area. This is due to hard wax being too thick and holding more heat in the skin-if the hairs are too short and need applying more then once then hard wax is not an option. The strip can be applied once only to save irritating the skin in this area.
Our strip wax is cream based designed for the brazilian region although I chose only to use it between the cheeks if this is the best option for the individual.
Disposable underwear are worn as a support technique for the skin in a male brazilian but I am glad you felt more comfortable wearing one.
Thank you for your review-Kate

Great service, Kate made me feel very relaxed at getting waxed here. I have tried other female/male waxing business in Brisbane and Maxwax is the best for service and is great value for money, $15-$20 cheaper than other business for male waxing, Kate even gives you a reward card where after five visits you get the sixth visit 50% off the price.
Kate me comfortable and relaxed at getting waxed here, highly recommend Maxwax.
Thank you.
