We called up this service to fix our washing machine. The first visit 18 of July cost $116 for them to tell us that a part was needed. We waited two weeks for the first part, which was still not ordered and they ordered the wrong part and then it took a further two weeks to come. At the last visit, after two months waiting, they told us another part was needed and it would cost another $140 bringing the total payment to around $440 (The washing machine cost $550 brand new) and a total wait of two months for nothing to be fixed and a lot of money and time wasted. A very poor, unprofessional and poor quality customer service. Was left with the technician saying "I must of missed it the first time around". Very Unprofessional, stay away!

I first contacted mayner & Cochran in February to fix my broken clothes dryer, they came out within a week of contacting them assessed the situation and ordered the part they needed and said it would be in within a week. Two weeks later I call them to see if the part had arrived "Oh yes it arrived yesterday" (yeah right!) booked in a time for a week later which was any time between 10am and 2pm. They didn't show up in this time frame nor did they call to let me know they'd be late. I'm a busy mum I can't be flexible with my time. I called them and organized another day for them to come a week later. This time they showed up but the problem wasn't originally what they said so again they said they'd order the part they need. Two weeks later they call to organize a day to come out again, another 2 week wait! And again they didn't show up in the 4 hour time frame or call to let me know. This time I sent an email to the director of the company. I received a phone call first thing the next day with a "sincere" apology and managed to fit me in the next day. He arrived and "fixed" the problem. When I returned my hired clothes dryer a month after mine had been fixed I went to use it and much to my dismay it has not been fixed at all!! I called mayner and Cochran back and can't get them to come out for another 2 weeks! So it has taken over 4 months and it still isn't fixed!

Charged $150 for 20 minute visit to diagnose problem with washer in late Jan. was informed in March that part would not arrive in Australia until mid-April. It is now late May and after many attempts at contact we have heard nothing back and decided to buy a new washer. Great if you want to be treated with absolute disdain. The half star is just so that other users would not think that I had neglected to rate them at all. M&C, thanks for taking my money and then doing absolutely nothing!
