Maccas is Maccas and we all love it but this McDonalds differs because it actually has a security guard. The staff are quite nice albeit a little bit slow but there are a lot of young teenage "thugs" who hang out there, asking people for money and trying to punch on with everyone. I probably wouldn't take my kids there if I had any

McDonalds at Bakery Hill has a great restaurant like no other McDonalds. Great friendly service inside the restaurant & in the drive through. The only thing I can say about the drive through is most times we don't get serviettes but otherwise... the best McDonald's Restaurant I have been to.

I love this McDonalds because of it's amazing decor & how it's set out. Very modern while still keeping in with the Ballarat historical architecture. However, I would have to saying most of my drive-thru experiences has huge room for improvement. The staff are always friendly but most times our meals don't have serviettes & the burgers or wraps are just thrown together with all the contents falling out of the boxes; it would seem that the kitchen staff might need re-training on how to construct a burger or wrap & then how to pack it correctly so it doesn't fall out & make a mess in the bag. Quite a few times I have gone back to get replacements because of careless kitchen staff. I hope the management crew read this & help to improve food preparation to a standard that doesn't disappoint customers. Otherwise, this is my favorite McDonalds. Practice your "A" game folks & you will be one of the best Maccas in Victoria.

Friendly service a like dated and dirty but overall great valve great location and staff are happy to help also a lot of seating ares which is bery good especially when busy

Huge car park or easy drive throw, I love the more classic look inside with the photos of old ballarat on the wall, it's clean great oh&s and the food is for easily made

if you want fast food mc donalds is pretty good. lines can sometimes get rather long, but there service is always pretty good. food quality is quite good also.. not the healthy choice but it is quite yummy!

Much the same as all Mcdonalds, $5.00 meals are a great bargain, place was clean( but if it wasnt you cant blame staff) . only the lazy and dirty customers who are too lazy to put rubbish in bins. Service was quick and friendly.

I'd arrived in Ballarat city about 4 months ago for the first time, and I'd stayed in Comfort Hotel. I looked for familiar thing because I was confused. I saw Mcdoland that it made me happy. I went there with my wife and I faced with friendly staff and environment. It's very clean with reasonable price. I love it...

It's McDonalds - you can expect a 5 course meal!
To the people writing about the slow service, please keep in mind that this particular McDonalds does a great job of hiring people with disabilities. So give them an extra few minutes without throwing their service out the window.
Anywhere with an indorr playground gets my vote!

Service in drive through is usually the best. At the counter isn't quite as good and they need to buy new eftpos machines. They've lost sales numerous times and I was quite annoyed when I waited in line when it was super busy to get my morning coffee and there machine wasn't working. They asked me to line up again at a different counter but i had to get to work. They couldn't expect me to line up again after waiting so long and getting rejected due to one of their faults. Don't get your hopes up with eftpos. I have found several times that the food has also been overlooked. They usuall also give us our drinks with Coked down the side because the machine sprays and they don't make effort to wipe the drinks. I've gotten sick of wiping drinks innovative my shirt due to this.
Otherwise the restaurant isn't too bad.its situated in a great spot however is well known for its danger.

A group of friends and I were eating our food when a group sitting at the table next to us threw a chocolate sundae which went all through the girls' hair and all over everybody's clothes. We left instantly to realize 10 minutes later my friends phone had been stolen. The staff weren't very helpful.
