I took my car to them they fixed the front and one of the sides as I was driving away I noticed the window was broken I took a back to them they said that they won’t going to fix it. so I took it to a family friend mechanic they had a look at it and there was a piece of wood in my door holding up the window to prevent it falling into the door and the window worked perfectly before I took it to Medicar. They couldn’t be bothered to fix my whole car with insurance money so they half assed it and scammed to me

A few months ago my 1999 Falcon met with a post at Macarthur Square and had 3 long ripples along the front passenger side door, as well as scrapes on the rear door and both bumper bars and a dent on the right wheel arch. There was also rusty damage on another wheel arch from a previous encounter. If I claimed insurance it would have been written off, so I paid for the repairs myself. On 15 Dec I took it to Medicar at Campbelltown, just for a quote. I'm used to having to wait weeks for insurance mobs to approve repairs so was surprised when they were prepared to take it immediately. I had shopping to do and needed to empty the car so I dropped it back there later the same day. Got the car back 24 Dec. It is beautiful. They repaired all the damage they were asked. As far as I am concerned they went above and beyond, the colour match is perfect, they even made a bird dropping mark disappear where I had not been able to remove it for about 10 years. There had been a small gouge out of the rear bumper bar where the trailer got too close to jackknifing while I was reversing one time many years ago. It took me 2 days to realise it wasn't there any more. Lots of little things repaired. That attention to detail means a lot to me. Even my better half says we don't need a new car now - we have this one.

Approximate cost: $3000

These guys are the WORST. DO NOT USE THEM.
My Insurance company recommended them. Its been over 6 weeks and every week they keep changing dates of delivery. It was minor repairs (back bumper bar and door) but they have made it out that the van has HUGE damage including floor and suspension. They are taking Insurance company for a ride as well as delay in repairs.

THEY ARE THE WORST.

I was in a car accident and this is a preferred for my insurer. When I originally rang them about when my car would be ready they said probably at the end of the month ( 3 1/2 weeks). They told me to ring back in 2 and see how they were going.
When I rang they said they hadnt even started..
In 2 more weeks I rang back and they said they were waiting on a part that they were hoping to get in by the end of the week, if not they can def get one by October (3 months away!) I finally got my car all fixed and seems to be fine now.
I just didnt like the fact that they never rang me or gave me a heads up on time etc. Lucky we had an extra car at the time or I think i would of been more disapointed with the experience.
