The desserts here are amazing. The taro balls are the highlight though, its soft and chewy texture with the shaved ice and condensed milk gives a great combination. The price is slightly costly but great for occasional treats!
This Taiwanese dessert is simply amazing! I ordered the crush mango ice and absolutely loved it! The price is also very affordable and the serving is quite big.
This shop is located right on the corner of Goulbourn and Dixon Streets and usually always crowded especially on the weekend and evenings.
They have many types of Taiwanese dessert options, I love their sweet potato and taro balls. I always ask for extra topping with cost of 60 cents (if im not mistaken)
My favourites are Taro Balls dessert no.4 (Taro+Red Beans+Pearls) and Herbal Jelly Signature dish (Cold: Herbal Ice+Taro Balls+Cream)
You arrive, make your order and pay at the counter, they give you a buzzer and you take a seat, once your order is ready, they will buzz you.
nice dessert place . a lot of variestis to choose from. it was quire cheap as well. a bowl of dessert choose around $6 . most of the dessert are perfect for summer time. on winter time i do not crave for this dessert. btw the dessert in here are not that sweet so it was quite nice
Approximate cost: $6
Generally speaking, it is just an average taiwanese dessert shop for me, but it is very popular among my friends, i guess it is because I don't like herbal jelly, pearl jelly and beans. The only thing I like from the shop is the taro and the mango crush. The size is big, but the generally speaking too much ice in it. I would rather go somewhere else for my mango pancake or mango pudding.
It's really busy here - there's a crowd in the doorway and its a bit confusing working out where to order until the girl waves.
This place is popular - lots of people are lining up so it must be good.
so I tried but turn out to be disappointed. The dessert are not sweet enough and too much ice. Probably not going back.
Approximate cost: $8
It is very nice but the waiting line is quite long. The price is still reasonable for me. You should have a try there. The taro balls series are the best selling and i absolutely love it.
Approximate cost: $5
Very good Taiwanese dessert stall. Its expanding throughout South East Asia and I would like to say its one of my favourite ice dessert. Absolute value for money for the portion that customers get compared to desserts around Taiwan and just on the edge of Chinatown. Try out their most popular series as I think its their best one, followed closely by the one with ice cream, shaved ice, (just ask for the mountain one)
Approximate cost: $5
As an avid fan of Taiwanese desserts, this place is heaven to me! With so many choices and reasonable price, it is no wonder I visit the place pretty often. Try not to get the bean curd though because they can be quite watery and tasteless at times. One dessert that will never go wrong is anything with the taro balls series. Their bubble teas are also pretty good and it is a good place to chill with your friends after class or shopping. Awesome!
I went to several Meet Fresh stores and what I have experienced were wrong order, dirty tables and even a fly in my boyfriend's order. But since we like the food there, I'm giving it a three star.
Approximate cost: $6
