Great service with a smile. Reopened the cafe at the end of the day to provide our exhausted post walk party with ice creams!

Whilst waiting for our IDA bay train trip we refreshed ourselves in Meg's Cafe. It was fantastic to see some good old fashioned style cooking with the steak burgers/cheesburgers at great prices(Steak with the lot was $9 cheeseburgers were $6), but they were fresh and big. The bowl of chips $5 was enough to feed the 5 of us as well. Overall the service was great and honest(ie told us to not go overboard with ordering to much as the serves were large already). What impressed me was these sorts of cafe are few and far between so was great to be able to return to an era where you had good old fashioned service and great country style cuisine.
