absolute favorite place to eat for japanese! Great menu options teriyaki chicken set, was delicious, Brilliant space at the rear for functions or large groups too!

This is a cute little restaurant situated in the centre of Frankston. It is worth noting that it is no longer owned and operated by Japanese people. The owners are an Australian man and his Filipino wife. The food was tasty but for someone who has lived for a long time in Japan the food did not appear to be very authentic. However it was fresh and well presented. The service was cheerful but very slow. We had to wait 45 minutes for our entrees. We had an enjoyable evening but skipped desserts and coffee because of the slow service. We just couldn't wait any longer.Which is a pity because I was very much looking forward to some Green Tea Ice-cream....

We love the food, the people and will always come back whenever we want to eat out. The food is exceptional, you can watch how the fish and meat sliced so thinly with such great expertise. The owners are so nice and accommodating. It is tops!
