Not impressed!

They promise the world at the initial consultation and then drag your case out, without attemting to gather additional evidence, or if they do, they do a half assed job!

They reply to you at the end of the working day, as if to imply your questions are not worth their time...

VERY disappointed with MEJ, they clearly take on too many cases and cherry pick the ones they put real effort into.

If you happen to be someone dealing with a psychological injury in addition to a physical, don't bother with them!

Since they are considered to be one of the better law firms in the region, it is disappointing to experience their lack of care (even if you're the victim of someone else's negligence) dash cam footage as proof.

If I could find another law firm that would sue them for their lack of care, unprofessionalism and time wasting - I wouldn't hesitate!

The 2 lawyers that I have dealt with at MEJ have been nothing special, clearly they take on too many cases and cherry pick the ones they want to out effort into.

Disappointing and absolutely frustrating to say the least.

Go elsewhere and be warned!

If they pick their game up, I may change my review, but I won't hold my breath on it.

I was represented by MEJ after being injured in a motor vehicle accident in the ACT. My compensation case was an open shut case, as the driver was covered by comprehensive insurance, was clearly in the wrong and had to accept fault (and a traffic offense).

Therefore it was no surprise that i had a successful outcome and got a positive settlement. However, there were two issues with MEJs conduct that concerned me.

Firstly, the quality of communication varied over the running of my case. Mostly it was good - particularly at the start and end of my case, but at times i had to chase MEJ to get a response out of them.

Secondly, transparency when it came to the fees and costs i could expect was sadly lacking. From what i saw, i am in little doubt that MEJ took a percentage cut of my final settlement. They are meant to charge you for work on an hourly-rate basis, but my case fee estimates went up and down as the settlement figure went up and down during negotiations.

Because of this, it's difficult to judge the value MEJ delivered without paying another lawyer to review my case and legal fees.
