We go here lots - the food is consistently good and it is very authentic. The host is friendly and accommodating and overall it is good value. The dining room itself is a bit drab and can be cold if you get there right on opening on a winter's evening.

Melati is a small family owned and run Indonesian restaurant in Camberwell near Toorak Road. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and polite, the prices are reasonable and the servings are generous. The restaurant can cold as the heating doesn't seem to work well, but it's one of my favourite hidden gems.
