Hey guys, I got my license a few days ago and am over the moon. Joyce was a lovely instructor and a great teacher. She is both professional and super sweet. It's hard to find such a character when it comes to learning how to drive because of it's seriousness nature. It makes sense why driving instructors sometimes can be intimidating but that doesn't help when you are already nervous. Anywayz I had quite a few instructors and I don't think I would have passed my test if it were not for Joyce and her positive nature. Instead of teaching me how to pass the test she gave me driving skills i will always keep. I would recommend her to anyone and I would recommend this organisation. Nothing better. The package were affordable and realistic. If you do the lessons individually it won't give you that push you need when it comes to becoming a safe driver. Good luck guys and stay safe! James is a passionate and patient instructor. I had never driven a car before but James made me feel confident and comfortable on driving. He provides constant feedback on my driving skills and always acted on my best interest. His driving lessons were very well-planned and systematic, which reflects his good work ethics. James was never late for lessons and was easily contactable via phone. James is a genuinely nice instructor and I highly recommend him to anyone who is keen to learn driving.

I had the best experience learning how to drive with Melbourne Driving School; I passed first time. James the driving instructor allocated to me was supportive in my driving ability which really helped my nerves and built my confidence on the road. Very knowledgeable and thorough when it comes to road rules and preparing for the test. I have used other instructors in the past and one thing which really annoyed me was that they were always late for appointments. No issues with James and Melbourne Driving School.

Our son is profoundly Deaf (sign language only) and slightly Autistic. We couldn't find any specialised driving instructors in our area that would be suitable for our son. Vicroads were at a loss as to how to help us. We called John from the Melbourne Driving School. John visited our home to offer us some assistance, he was very patient and understanding. With John's assistance we devised a system of signals and instructions that both our son and the Vicroads examiner were able to understand and communicate. Our son passed his test on his first attempt. We can't thank John enough for his patience and understanding during what must have been a difficult time for him as well as us.

I was able to pass my drive test on my first attempt with Melbourne Driving School. I chose the 5 lesson package because my test was booked in 2 weeks, and was met with Joyce - a very patient and competent instructor. She taught me the common routes that the test could take place in, which was great. On the day of my drive test, I had a 90-min lesson with James - another resourceful and competent instructor. If you are looking for a driving instructor who emphasises the importance of safe driving rather than just passing the test, I highly recommend both Joyce and James.
