1 review about Melissa's Beauty Clinic

According to her ad:"From Justin Biebers teenage pimples to Miranda Kerrs hidden wrinkles, no one knows celebrity skin quite like Melissas. With 30 years in the beauty biz, Melissas Beauty Clinic has helped to beautify oodles of celebrities and treats each client (this means you) as a luminescent star as you recline in their chair for this offer. Youll get a deluxe-one hour facial to leave you looking radiant for just $ 45, (instead of $ 120) as you cleanse, tone, exfoliate, get buffed and extracted, and much more by a professional who gives facials with passion, discretion and experience. Melissa is a star herself, having trained in Paris and worked alongside Elizabeth Arden. Shell have you feeling like a movie-star as you flash your fresh new face to the world with confidence." The above description is totally UNTRUE. My friend and I went together and she bought me the voucher from livingsocial. Yes, it was at a heavily discounted price and I shouldn't expect too much. However, the staff was trying to sell me additional treatments ( which I do expect as well), but when I said no, the quality of service really went down the hill. They cleaned my face, told me I needed all these extra treatments, and when I said I am doing them ( currently having a beauty package elsewhere), they then asked me what salon I went to, how much do they charge, why did I buy the voucher to come to see them if I am already seeing someone else??? ( I mean, really??? I thought the idea of putting your business with those discounted coupon thing is to increase your exposure to wider client base, and yes, if I had a fantastic experience, I would return to get more treatment-- no hard selling required) They extracted about 5 spots while telling me that it is NOT included in the package that I purchased. Buffed my face very roughly, and then just applied a mask in a very rough fashion. My treatment was definitely shorter than one hour, ( my friend who did purchase additional stuff from them got a much better treatment from them. Her treatment was over one hour) The treatment is not worth $120 or $45. It feels more like $25. Yes, I don't have perfect skin, hence I've been to numerous beauty salons and receiving various treatments in Sydney and overseas, and this is by far the most disappointing one ever.
