I would not recommend. I bought a CX5 in mid 2022 and was offered front sensors for $1000. Three months ago the car started beeping for no reason and when I rang the service team they were rude and said they didn’t have a clue what it was. Meantime I rang Osborne Park Mazda who immediately said it would be the add on. This was confirmed when I took it there. I have written twice to Melville Mazda complaining and asking for recompense and they have not even seen fit to acknowledge my complaint. Furthermore when the car was serviced, I had to Uber and the driver told me they pay for some people’s Ubers but not mine. I wouldn’t go back to that service department.

Recently took delivery of new CX5, although a waiting time for distribution due to supply chain, we eventually got the car home delivered by Ameya who has been very helpful through the purchase process, he is well informed and pleasant to deal with and would give him more than 10 out of 10! So far so good happy with the car. David H, Sorrento

All the tech but no lumbar support… ridiculous decision, comfort should be a priority for the user!
Bought a new CX8 6 months ago from Melville Mazda. Great car, love all the tech but it makes no sense what so ever not to include lumbar support in the Sport model! I’ve now got a really bad back and will no doubt end up paying even more money to have something fitted to the car to be comfortable, which should be a basic fulfilment for any car manufacturer! I was very excited to be buying a Mazda, but instead I feel very let down and disappointed.

Just picked up our new cx8 and all I can say Jordan Long was the best car sales person that I have dealt with. His attention to detail from start to finish has been exceptional, we felt we could trust him and Melville Mazda that they would take care of everything, and they definitely did. I’ll be recommending Melville Mazda to anyone after a new car.

Melville Mazda needs to be complimented on the calibre of their staff. We bought a car through an inimitable young fellow Jordan Long. What a pleasure to have dealt with him. He was extremely friendly, polite amiable professional and helpful. Such service from such a youngster bodes well for Melville Mazda! I would recommend this company and certainly Jordan Long. Thank you fir an incredible experience.

Recently went to Melville Mazda, (March 2018) my local dealership, and took a Mazda 3 for a test drive. Young cadet, Dan was very helpful and answered all our questions. Upon returning to the dealership we sat down with Dan and discussed prices. Dan informed us the price of a 2018 Mazda 3 Maxx Sport Manual drive away (12mts lic.) was $25,756.00 ( He wrote this down on a brochure)
We questioned him on this price as the advertised on the Mazda Australian Website is $23,490.00 Drive away.
This is $2.266.00 above the Mazda Australia RDRP.
We thought he may be giving the price for the Automatic version but he confirmed this was the price for the Manual version, he even showed us the price list.
He also showed us a second price list with the correct prices and tried to say this was a campaign price run by Mazda Australia.
I later contacted Mazda Australia to confirm the campaign pricing and they confirmed there was no campaign being run.
Beware of the pricing of new vehicles from Melville Mazda, they are quite happy to fleece you on a new car.
A couple of weeks later we visited the Dealership on a Sunday, no sales people to deal with, and had another look at the vehicle. Much to our surprise we found the vehicle unlocked.
The next day I contacted the owner/dealer principle and informed him of this security issue. He was thankful for my contacting him but angry with his staff and security company employed to check the buildings and vehicles.
When I told him of the issue of the overpricing we tried to cover up by blaming the salesperson Dan, who had since left.
I told him we had seen the two price lists produced by Melville Mazda.
On further conversations with Melville Mazda we declined to buy a new vehicle from them as felt we were being duped by the company.
This is FRAUD and be very aware of the sales people at Melville Mazda
they will take you for a sucker if they can get away with it.
It would have been nice to have been offered a thank you gift from the owner for going out of my way to call and inform him of unlocked vehicle on a Sunday.
Melville Mazda do not have  the professional Ethics required to represent Mazda Japan.

If you dislike someone really badly, then this is the place to send them to get their car serviced. They are in disarray, dis-organised, untidy, rude, petulant, unreliable, and so excessively expensive that it is to the point of being obviously dishonest. My $250 service was $1250 and 30 hours late and the work was not completed despite their game of tick a box.
They are stereotypical oily haired con men of the by gone era. Avoid them at all costs.

I had a good purchasing experience, hassle free and they where not dishonest in any way. The service department does need more smiling faces, but in general they are helpful & explained my service well.
