I stayed at the Meriton Pitt Street for my Hens Night, and it was fabulous! My friends and I booked a three bedroom apartment which had a large living area and a large balcony. All of my friends came here, we ate dinner and had pre-drinks before heading to the clubs. There was enough room for everybody and everybody enjoyed themselves. I think the room was slightly overpriced, as was the parking costs, but it was a one-off evening. Very modern and quality serviced apartment!

Stayed here 1 week ago. Service was average, we got upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment which was really good. We also were told when checking in that we could check out an hour after than we should be, as it wasnt busy. When it was time to check out one of the receptionists told us we shouldve been there earlier and was very rude about it!
The room was quite comfortable and it comes with everything from kitchen appliances to shampoo and conditioner, but one thing i noticed was there werent any toothbrushes. All the other hotels ive been in has always provided one. The pool and gym facilities are quite nice, although i never got to use the gym. We had to pay a bond of 200 and was told we would get it back after checking out, but it has been a week and we havent got it back. We called Meriton and they said it would take another week to process, this was very dissapointing. I would recommend Meriton to people that are looking for a cheap accomodation for a short stay, but personally i wouldnt come to meriton again!!

Approximate cost: $150 per night

I have stayed at both the meriton pitt street and also kent street. They are both nice properties although I prefer Kent street. We got an amazing rate on wotif.com, $89 for a night!

Approximate cost: $89

Stayed in a serviced apartment here for a few nights. General impression was pretty good -- decent prices, good location. Staff were nice about letting us leave our baggage with them before we checked in. The beds in our apartment were a little weird: they were on wheels and there was no stopping them from rolling around the floor when getting in and out. It was more funny than bothersome though. The worst thing was we were on a trip with some friends who were staying in a bigger apartment on a different floor, and use of the elevator was tied to your room key: you could only ever get off at your own floor. This really complicated meeting up with our friends.
