My preferred plumber was not availabke to next mornibg so I rang Metropolitan Plumbing. They wanted $141 to cone and quote. I said no, so they offered to cone for free. They then gave me a long-winded quote for $1239 to basically change a few fittings. I said that was ridiculous so he left. The next morning my preferred plumber arrived, took 15 seconds to give me a verbal quote of $220. He did the job and was gone within 30 minutes.
