I love this place for lunch or dinner! You can sit outside and you're literally in the forest. The food is great, a wide range of vegetarian food which is great. I always go for the veg gnocchi and it never disappoints :)

I have admired this pub from the bus for a long time. It looksw so cosy and welcoming. The interior did not disappoint. Little window tables, pretty much any sized group can be seated easily.Lovely fire place. There were several family groups there the evening we went. The kids at the next table were really enjoying the pasta.
It took three repuests before a bottle of water appeared.
We had grilled barramundi .Mine was served with salad and my sister had chips and veg with hers. Mayonnaise on the salad as well as a cup of tartare sauce for the fish. not sure about that. Fish was a smidge overcooked and it took a long time to get our meals. The meal was OK and I would probably go there again but not a wow experience

A nice old looking pub with lots of memorabilia. Even the car park is nice because there is a stream that runs alongside the pub. The food is not bad, I've had a lot better at other pubs. Good selection of beer and cider on tap. They were playing some great 80's music when we went. All in all a nice pub.

Nice escape from the winter chills of the Dandenongs. Nice atmosphere and one of the most generous serves of fish and chips I've ever had! A member of our party had traveled from Templestowe to enjoy a meal and some music afterwards, he's been there several times and will go back again!

One of my favorite pubs/taverns to go to for a meal, the bangers and mash here are sensational, as is the lasagne. the only problem I sometimes have is that the meals are of such generous proportions that I struggle to finish the plate! Awesome decor too, hats off to the Micawber!

What a cute quirky little place. i love the intimicy it offers. Charming settings and good service. Its like a little local that you would see in europe. The menu is good and they seem to have lots of entertaiment for all to enjoy. Tuesdays is trivia night, my favourite, and fri through to sunday they have live music. Sunday is great, rock n roll bands for the whoe family to enjoy. I cant get enough of this cute little pub!!

Was a bit worried about taking little children to eat at a tavern but upon arrival felt very comfortable having the kids there. We went on a Sunday evening and the place was packed and there was a very warm atmosphere. Good live music playing and the kids tore it up on the dance floor. The menu had a wide selection with something for just about anyone. I'm not vegetarian but I noted there were some nice sounding veggo options there. Whilst perusing the menu I thought maybe it was a bit pricey but upon receiving our massive orders I felt that the price represented excellent value. Despite the large crowd of diners I felt our food came relatively quickly.

We stumbled across this pub when driving through the Dandenongs one day looking for a place for lunch. It was good value for money and I had the spinach crepes which were surprisingly delicious! Well worth a stop off if you are in the area.
