i went in to get a ring resized. a ring my nan left for me in her will. they lookied at the ring for me very carefully, and gave it a polish, they regretfully told me that they wouldn't do the work for me, they didn't want to risk damaging the ring, especially considering the sentimentality behind it. they suggested alternatives without being pushy. giving me cost estimates throughout. they were friendly, helpful and showed they cared about the clients not just quotas.
Looking for a ring at Michael Hill, staff were extremely helpful. Once they got an idea of what I was after the sales staff tried to get a discount on it. Upon receiving discount I put it on layby. When I lost my docket a couple of weeks later it was no trouble at all. Very nice and helpful.
