Went here while on holidays! Seemed like a nice place. There was a great menu and a lovely staff and fabulous, quick service but the food lacked flavour and zing. Lots of the sushi's were quite bland and the fried dishes had gone a bit soft. Drinks were great and there was a wide variety. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and experienced.

I have been to Midori as a sit down dinner twice, and though the staff and service is fine, the second time I went it was really disappointing. I ordered exactly the same meal as my first visit (chicken katsu), but received something completely different! I did check with the server that it was in fact what I had ordered and she confirmed that it was. But it tasted totally different and wasn't that great. I do find that the take away sushi to be lovely though. I wouldn't probably go there for a sit down dinner again though. The prices are reasonable, and the decor is kitsch and cute, which I love, but it's just too inconsistent in quality.

I was pretty excited when I first saw this restaurant because I've lived in Japan before and loved the food. The menu seemed great and the staff were so lovely. Unfortunately the food wasn't that great and not exactly authentic... Probably won't go back.

This is a nice restaurant. It does not comprise on the quality of the food. The service was great - they keep you updated with order and about when it will be ready (which was greatly appreciated). The interior feels like a modern fusion between East and West - it was very clean and it had a great atmosphere. Though the restaurant itself was a bit small. There was a wide choice of food and drinks (which included green tea, lychee juice etc.) The food was tasty and reasonably priced. Will go back again.

Pleasant and helpful smiley service. Excellent value for money. We enjoyed everything we tried. Chicken & prawn dumplings quite heavy and a bit bland but still OK. Wakami salad yum! Will go again soon.

Have only had the spring rolls from here, they were OK, but nothing to write home about.
Service was good, considering they were pretty busy, staff were friendly.
Much of the menu wasn't appealing to me (personal taste only) so can't comment on the "authentic" Japanese cuisine.
