1 review about Mind Games

Firstly, the shop itself has a nice cozy feel, very much in line with the suburb it resides in. However, there are a few basic problems. The layout of the store is a bit scattered and random. Perhaps that is deliberately done to keep with the quirky nature of the shop, but it makes finding things much harder considering the store is a boutique sized retailer supplying a niche product.

Furthermore, the items was looking for was 50% pricier than the RRP advertised on the Mind Games site. It turns out that the main branch sold the product for $24 whilst this one sold it for $32 based on their differing suppliers. That's a nuisance as well.

On the plus side, the service was rather good. Considering I couldn't find what I was looking for, the shop attendant pointed it out for me, and once I brought it to him to purchase, he gave me a few tips in regards to the product - which I thought was a nice touch.

All in all, it was an OK experience, but very representative of small businesses in the inner eastern suburbs to me - full of character but slightly overpriced.

Approximate cost: $32.00
