Such a unique place. I absolutely loved it. From the grass roots, home grown rustic atmosphere and surrounds, warm hearty service to the really fresh, delicious and inspired food.
Seafood is naturally the theme of this casual seafood cafe. But despite the casual nature of the cafe, you will be wowed by the dishes that greet your table. Things like Marinated Crab & Corn Ceviche served in lettuce cups; Salt Cod scotch eggs, Spicy coconut and sweet potato seafood chowder etc feature on a 'specials' menu in addition to the standard daily menu which carries a southern north american theme.

The food is incredible!! I never had crab before Miss Katie's crabshack, so tried it and low and behold it comes still swimming! Swimming in a scrumptious garlic butter sauce that is-to.die.for. The Fried chicken is unbeatable, particularly when doused in the house hot sauce and the house Sailor Jerry's BBQ sauce. The service is also wonderful, it might be a dive bar, but that's part of it's charm, the staff are all wonderful!
